Full-body tabata workout.
Have you ever heard of doing tabata workouts? If you haven't, they are high intensity workouts that only last 4 minutes. 4 minutes!
Here is the breakdown:
1) 4 minutes
2) 20 second intense training
3) 10 second recovery/rest
4) Total of 8 rounds
5) 2-3 total sets/ rest 1-3 minutes in between
Why do tabatas you ask?
*It increases your HR hours after you are done, therefore you continue to burn calories.
*Utilizes many muscle groups to burn more calories.
*Increases aerobic capacity by using anaerobic training.
*You only need 20-25 minutes.
I put together a short tabata workout (above) for you to try. It's 4 moves total. I explain what you will need and how to perform each move.
1) Renegade row w/ wide jump
2) Jump squat w/ reach over
3) Mtn. Climbers
4) Weighted skaters/and or skiers
I use a Gymboss interval timer. It's easy to use and I can concentrate on the moves vs. keeping track of the time/reps.

If you have a smartphone, there are several interval timer apps that would work as well.
1) Gymboss app
2)IntervalTimer app
(I have these two on my phone)
